Growing Pains, Leaps of Faith, and Dancing Through It All
Share
It has been quite the week here at Larson’s Land. When you're running a farm and a small business, "busy" takes on a whole new meaning, but lately, it feels like we are growing in ways that are truly good for the soul—even if they come with a few growing pains.

Milestones on the Farm
This week brought some big firsts for us. We took a cow to the processor for the very first time, which is a major step in our farming journey. We also had to load up a bull and haul him to the vet to get taken care of and rebanded. It’s gritty, exhausting work, but it’s honest work.

If I’m being completely transparent, though, I struggle sometimes. The farm is operating and growing, but I often catch myself wishing I had more time to just make the place look better. It’s easy to get caught up in the aesthetics and the endless to-do lists, but I am actively trying to remind myself to pause, breathe, and actually enjoy the moments of this journey. Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 says, "I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God." I am learning to find that satisfaction right now in the progress, not just the picture-perfect moments.

The Ebb and Flow of Coffee
On the business side of Larson’s Land, we’ve noticed our online sales slowing down a bit after that initial wave of excitement. Honestly? That’s okay. We know we can’t expect to be the absolute center of everyone's daily lives.
Our goal has never been about dominating your attention; it’s about being an enhancement to your day. Whether our coffee gives you a quiet moment of peace in the morning or fuels you through a tough afternoon, we just want to be a small part of your routine. Our purpose remains exactly the same: spreading Larson’s joy and memory to others who might be fighting their own battles.

A Fast Close and a Faithful Step
Speaking of spreading Larson's joy, I have some massive news to share. As of last week, we are officially under contract on a building for Larson’s Land! It’s a fast close, and things are moving quickly. We have been deep in prayer, asking God to lead us on this journey. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us to "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." We want to be absolutely sure that this next step allows us to glorify Him and help others through their own struggles. I’ve lived the life of doing things to fill my own ego—been there, done that, and I don't want to go back.
We firmly believe that by offering great roasted coffee and introducing people to Larson and everything he stood for, we can bring a little light to whatever you might be facing in your own life. We are praying that this building is exactly the direction God wants us to take to serve you better.

Psalm 30:11 says, "You turned my wailing into dancing." Thank you for being on this journey with us, for enjoying the coffee, and for helping us keep Larson's spirit alive and dancing in front of everyone.
Stay grounded,
